About

Born and raised in Mexico, at an early age I did show interest and love for arts, and at the age of 14 I won an Art Contest, organized by the UN World Population Council, earning second place at the National stage, and first place at the State stage, which earns me a scholarship in Arts School.

–In 2001 I started working as Design and Content Coordinator in a Game Magazine for the official distributor of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro in Latin America where I had the opportunity to develop myself as a publisher, translator and game tester.

–In 2005 I started my work as head of design for a Product Localization Company, working with brands such as Hooked on Phonics, Simmons Mattresses, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, among others.

–In 2009, our team was hired by the Federal Government of Mexico to make an animated film about the Mexican War of Independence, “Héroes Verdaderos” (True Heroes), In this film I did participate as Art Director. Unfortunately, the low budget forced us to complete the project in just 8 months. Even so; the film earned two National Awards: "FIDECINE Award for best animated film" in Mexico (2010), and the "Silver Goddess" for best animated film in Mexico (2010).

As a result of that, we were hired by one of the largest media companies in Mexico, to develop different animation projects for their future streaming platform “Claro Video”. Among those projects, it was chosen to start with “el Show de los Tecolotes”, Which appeared for a season on Nickelodeon Mexico and remains on the Nick Latin America page. (I worked on this project doing home office from Mexico, for a company located in Orlando Florida).

Due to the success of the characters in Mexico, the “Tecolotes Sanborns” campaign (where I worked as a writer, creative consultant and animator) was carried out for the “Sanborns” store and restaurant chain, which ran from 2010 until the beginning of 2020.

–In 2018, I was hired to do the branding and image design for the Sword Masters Club fencing academy, also located in Florida.
